While gaming may not be one of the Mac’s strengths, it’s about to get two very important games - according to Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games, Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3 are coming to Macs. Gears of War had been an Xbox 360 exclusive until recently when it was announced for PC - and now Apple, one of Microsoft’s biggest competitors, will have it too. While details may be sparse, and there are plenty of questions (Will it include the extra content? When will it be available? What will the requirements be?) just the fact that one of Microsoft’s biggest games is coming to the Mac is a pretty big deal.

While we still have quite a few months to wait until it actually airs, the first promo for the Battlestar Galactica: Razor movie is out. Telling the story of the Pegasus, it will include the entire cast of BSG and happens before the events of Season 3 - setting up for the official beginning of Season 4.

Airing on Sci Fi in November, it looks like it’s going to be awesome - so if you haven’t grown tired of my ramblings and watched the promo already, check it out above (or higher quality at SciFi.com) for a taste of the beginning of the end.
