Fox has ordered two more seasons of 24, which means it will be going until at least 2009. There aren’t any new details though, so we don’t know what to expect besides what was already revealed. However, Variety says that the upcoming seasons will stick with the 24’s unique structure. It will continue to be in real-time, with each episode covering an hour in Jack Bauer’s day.

24 has not been as consistently good as it used to be, and it has unfortunately been getting somewhat repetitive. I hope that it can stay good for another two Seasons, without losing even more of its appeal. It will be hard to predict until we learn more about what the writers and producers have in mind for 24’s future.
